Life Drawing Sessions
Life Drawing Wales runs relaxed, welcoming life drawing sessions for artists of all abilities. Sessions focus on observational drawing from a professional life model, with a mixture of short and longer poses. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced artist, you're very welcome.
What to expect
A typical session begins with a series of short warm-up poses, followed by longer poses that allow time to develop a drawing. Sessions are untutored, giving artists the freedom to work in their own style and at their own pace.
Drawing boards are available, and artists usually bring their own materials.
Who the sessions are for
No previous drawing experience is necessary — many people attend simply to practise observation and enjoy the process of drawing. Sessions are open to anyone interested in drawing from the figure — from beginners looking to practise observation to experienced artists developing their work.
